1. Who We Are
Hire Me ("we," "us," or "our") is a job search workspace operated by Manning Stinson, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The service is accessible at hireme.manningstinson.com.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account and use the service:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store plaintext passwords)
- Resume content: text and skills extracted from resumes you upload to Resume Hub
- Focus data: your career track, target job title, role preferences, and salary range
- Job search activity: job applications you track, notes, journal entries, and weekly notes
- Company lists: companies you add to your target list
- Payment information: billing is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store your card number or full payment details
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Power the job scanner — your career track and resume skills are used to fetch and rank job results relevant to you
- Generate keyword gap analysis by comparing your resume skills against live job postings
- Provide your full workspace: focus statements, application tracker, journal, notes, and playbook
- Send transactional emails — password resets, subscription confirmations — from hireme@manningstinson.com
- Maintain and improve the service
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Data Sharing
We share your information only with the following third-party services that are necessary to run the product:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe is PCI-compliant. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Job board APIs — when you run a scan, queries are sent to Remotive, We Work Remotely, Adzuna, RemoteOK, Himalayas, Jobicy, and Workday company pages. No personal data is sent to these services — only generic search queries for your career track.
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and service.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains in your account on the free tier. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us at hireme@manningstinson.com and we will remove your data within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: passwords are hashed with bcrypt, connections are served over HTTPS, and authentication uses signed JWT tokens with a 30-day expiration. No system is completely immune to attack, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
Hire Me uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token on your device. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not run third-party ad trackers.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Update your name and email at any time from My Hub
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your data (contact us and we will provide a copy)

9. Children's Privacy
Hire Me is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
